Spring Clean Out
We'll get your pond off to a great
start! First we remove your fish and
keep them safe during the cleaning.
Next we drain all of the water from
your pond and clean out the mess
that winter left behind. We will then
pressure wash the rocks and gravel.
Next we’ll clean the skimmer,
Biofalls®, filter mats and filter media.
Finally we'll fill your pond back up,
add dechlorinator, seed the
Biofalls® with beneficial bacteria

changing with the weather. Your
beneficial bacteria become less
effective, your aquatic plants will die
off and go dormant and leaves will
fall and blow into the water. If left
unattended, this plant material will
sink to the bottom and begin to
decay and rot, releasing harmful
gases and depleting oxygen levels.
This creates unhealthy conditions for
your fish and other aquatic life

re-circulating pump and possibly a
floating heater to keep a small hole

can take place.
